I'll post your bail if it's cheap, otherwise, you'll have to stay till the SS check comes. Love your quilt and your choice of colors.

Great quilt!!!!

Beautiful quilt! I too am guilty of using polyester thread for my quilting, Coats and Clark Dual Duty XP to be exact. I always thought it was cotton covered poly but I looked at a spool the other day and it is 100% poly. I don't feel guilty at all! My mother always sewed with Coats and Clark and so did my Great Aunt who was my quilting inspiration. I'm not worried about my quilts not holding up!!

I was a bad, bad, bad girl......not only did I use polyster thread to quilt this quilt.....I used RAYON!!!! I couldn't find a yellow varigated to use on the binding. So I went ahead and used rayon. :) :)
This is for a new great niece due the end of June. Hugs! |
I willl post your bail. You did a lovely job and I see nothing wrong in using the thread you did. I have had rayon hold up to numerous washings. Good luck with yours.
