Quilting program for iPad
Hi Quiters, I would like to know if there is a quilting program for a iPad. And if so has anyone try it? Labug

do you mean to look at designs or somehow transfer them from wherever onto iPad and then to whatever?????..........

There is an app, and it's called Quilter's App. I bought it, but I haven't used it much. I can't say it's not worth it, but I will say I'm self-taught on Electric Quilt 5 and yet I was unable to "figure out" this app. I didn't give it a lot of time, and I only glanced at the tutorials on the website, but still, I was surprised to find that for me, it's not all that user friendly...

I have the MSQC app on my iPad and enjoy getting Jenny's youtube tutorials as soon as they are posted.

There's an app called BlockFab. It was free when I got it. It might be what your looking for. It's good for beginners or those looking for new to them ideas. Its probably what a lot of our experienced members just know. Gives basic blocks, amount of fabric needed. And will show you how it would look in different quilt layouts and color schemes. It does not tell you how to cut or sew the blocks. It is a nice resource. Good luck on finding something that meets your needs.

touchdraw has been really good for me

Also check out: QuilWizard and ColorValuations
I haven't used them yet, but I think they were both free. |
