All my life I thought I had no creative skills. Everyone else could draw and was so artistic. Then one day it dawned on me....I am just using a different medium. I am an artist!

I make quilts to be used and loved. I've made/plan to make baby quilts, table runners, wall hangings, and throws. Someday I'd like to make a queen or king size. I've made them for personal use, friends, and for charity. I do it for the fun and creative outlet, as well.

I have made 2 for each of my grand children for when they marry. LOL!! They are 7 and 10. But this way if I'm not around they will still get something from grammy.
made a few for fun. Most of the ones are memory quilts. The hospital gives them to patients who are passing. they write messages on them fto their families. Than when they pass the quilt is given to the family. Can't think of a better reason to make a quilt. my avator is one of those quilts |

No reason other than I like the pattern - fabric, don't need a real purpose - it's fun no matter why!

Relaxation, using what art talent I have and the satisfaction of giving it to someone.
