I've made my sandwich...now what design would you suggest I use to quilt it on my domestic machine? It measures 60x60". Thank you!

This is just crying for lots of curves. How about some lovely big feathers. Great sewing by the way.

Curves, huh? I could try that... I haven't gone back to "clean" it up on the front because I was so excited to make my sandwich.

I gave up trying to clean up mine until they are quilted. No door on the sewing room, and four cats. :-)

how about shadow the stars, and do some wiggly lines in the background squares around the stars.

QuiltnNan 05-06-2017 03:04 AM

my first thought is an all over large meander.

Neuras 05-06-2017 06:20 AM

I thought about doing the meander or stipple all the way through, but I'd really like to make the 'stars' pop out a bit. Just haven't thought about how to go about that.

I haven't any quilting suggestions, but wanted to say "I just love your colors and prints!"

How about, echo around the stars them neander on the rest

If you want the stars to stand out, how about something like this (hopefully you can see the lines I drew in black). You could probably do it with a walking foot
