there is no reason you cannot quilt from the back I have done it

I have heard of quilters doing this. Some folks use a print backing & quilt on the printed pattern. It just depends on how nice your bobbin stitches look.
|
ok thanks all i am off to quilting I knew I could count on this forum members you all have helped me so much
|
they even sell backing fabrics with quilt designs printed on them.

I've quilted quilts from the back, especially if the backing has a cute design I can follow!
|
I have quilted from the back before especially when it is easier to see the lines drawn. Just makes sure to check everything before you start.
|
I've also quilted on the back. For some reason my bobbin stitches actually look better so I quilt from the back when it works out for the quilt.

Your quilt! Your choice. Have seen some really pretty ones done that way! Often the backing designs works for the quilting pattern. Anxious to see when you're finished!

I have done it with no problems.
Have fun. peace |
