I really want to make a round quilt to go on my round kitchen table. I have a longarm, but can't think of how in the world to put it on??? I don't want to hand quilt it, if I can keep from it. Any suggestions???

Just a thought....could I make the backing and batting "square" and then cut it off after quilting?? that might work.

I think you have solved your problem :-). That should work.

I scalloped a quilt before quilting. My longarm quilter said: Never scallop before quilting. Do it after. Same goes for making something round or triangle. Quilt the square and then cut it to your dimensions. Much easier to quilt. Be sure to use bias binding.

That's exactly how I'd do it.
