Quilting software

Has anyone bought a computer program to design your own quilts. I am looking in to getting a quilting program to make my own quilts. Any suggestions

I have EQ7 and love it.

I went cheap and bought Quilt Wizard. It was only around $30. Obviously it can't do what EQ can do. But I really like it for my purposes.

Quilt Wizzard is great for trying out different blocks and layouts and colors.
You cant design your own blocks but it has a large selection.
Its alot cheaper than the EQ7

I bought Quilt Wizard and EQ at the same time. I haven't used Quilt Wizard in years because EQ is so much more powerful. I started with EQ6 and upgraded to EQ7. I use it all the time, on every quilt I make. I also have the Dear Jane software from EQ, which is based on EQ5.

I bought EQ6 but haven't learner it. It has great potential but I still design by pencil and paper.

I have and love EQ7.

I purchased Quilt Wizard years ago when I saw it
on sale (50% off) at Joann's but for the life of me
can't remember why I even purchased it. Never have
used it.

I am thinking about buying quilt design wizard. Wish I could get eq7 but I can't afford it

I have had EQ5 for years, and added blockbase onto it... I love it... cant imagine being without it. Prior to that i had QuiltPro original (late 1990s ?) , then EQ3, then the 5.

Wish Joann's had it at the store so I might be able to use coupon. I am willing to buy a used program if anyone don't need it just message me.

One of my retirement goals is to install the EQ7 upgrade and learn how to use the software. I think it will be an awesome tool. This sort of software could take the pain out of designing a quilt.

I was given EQ when my dear friend died. I worked hard to learn it. I am totally convinced that QuiltPro is an entirely superior product. both products have fine add ons available as well.

I also have EQ7, it is really great!

Have EQ7. Its all I've ever used. I couldn't figure out EQ5, but the tutorials for EQ7 that came with the program were great.
