Does anyone use Quilting Software? I would like to have something that I can scan my fabric and then put it into the software program and see what it will look like before I actually start the quilt.

EQ7 does that but is pricey

I have Quilt Design Wizard, a cheapo software put out by EQ. For what I needed, it works fine, especially at $30. But no scanning of your fabric in this program.

EQ7 will scan your fabrics into the libraries.

I have EQ6 and that is one of the features I love about it. Maybe you can find some deals now the 7 has come out.

Thanks everyone for you input. I'll have to check out the EQ5 or 6.

I have Quilt Pro which isn't quite as pricey as EQ and it will do it. It is available for PC or Mac so make sure you get the right version for your computer.

Try www.MyWebQuilter.com. You can't scan your own fabrics but can use similar colors from their fabric stash to get an idea of what your quilt will look like. It is free to try it.

I have EQ5 and this is also an option there.
