Haha, I know what you mean. Thanks goodness she's in CT and I'm in OH! Sis has a bay window in the kitchen and I think that's where she puts her placemats. I think the 24" x 24" would be a good size for that space. Thanks everyone for your input 8->

I usually make them about the size of the chair I am trying to keep the cat hair off of :-)

The one I made for my cat was about 18 x 30. I used fleece for the backing and my cat loves it.

I used fleece, becausevshe was always lying on fleece jackets, fleece linings of jackets and fleece sweatshirts.

Hee hee! The cat will have the placemats and your cat quilt! It will just expand it's kingdom (or should I say catdom?)

I finally got a chance to take a picture of the quilt I made for my cat.

She does use it (fleece side lol)!
