I always notice them. I've seen lots on episodes of Little House on the Prairie and the Waltons. But, the other day, I saw a western where this woman was having a baby and they had quilts draped all around the wagon for privacy. I saw several I didn't know the pattern and some I did.

Quilts and Afghans too! I would love to recreate the afghan on Amy's couch from Big Bang Theory as a quilt.

I have seen quilts in several of the Hallmark Channel movies, especially during Christmas.

I have noticed two, both movies had Meg Ryan... You've got mail , and When Harry met Sally. In each movie she has had beautiful quilts on her bed.

I was watching Charmed at the gym the other day and there was a really nice quilt up in the attic of the 3 sisters house.
Army Wives had quilts too.

Sleepless in Seattle...on Meg Ryans kitchen table...yo yo! I also remember an old movie, probably from when my kids were MUCH younger..another one on a table. Right off the top of my head, I am thinking Same Time, Next year. It was like a NYC apartment and that takes place on the coast, so probably my memory needs more coffee! I am almost as bad with quilts in movies as I am trying to figure out WHERE I have seen that actor/actress before. Drives my DH a bit crazy!

I always wanted the large red & white block one on the Friends set. It just looked so "friendly" to me:D

I saw one on "Property Virgins". It was a beautiful blue and white star quilt that was being used as a picnic quilt. It was beautiful, and then their pet pig walked, flopped, ate, all over it--ugh!

I see them, too. It seems like I see more of them in shows filmed in Vancouver than others.
