I want to thank you so much for your replies - they all were GREAT!

Everyone seems to love the "Flip-Flop" quilt I made for my granddaughter. It's easy to make and all of her friends begged for one of their own. You can see a pic of this quilt under the Pictures at "Quilting is my Passion".

All kids are different except for the fact that most of them appreciate it when you make something special for them. My daughter (22) loves batik fabric but I just made the trip around the world quilt in patriotic fabrics and she's been telling everyone since then that it is hers. She wants to put in in her living room when (ha, ha) she gets her own place. I try to go with their favorite colors; one likes greens the other yellows and even my 4month old granddaughter has just recently let us know by her actions that she likes blue. If it's made with love you can't go wrong.

romanojg, that sounds RIGHT UP MY GRANDDAUGHTERS ALLY! She lives in Satellite Beach Fl and wears flip flops all the time (lucky them they have a pool). Thank you so much! Bevster
