Very nice quilt, love the subtle coloring. The quilting won't jump out at the recipient as it does at you.

And I've noticed that stitching booboos aren't nearly as noticeable after the quilt is washed:) Be proud of what you've accomplished!

It is a beautiful quilt. I'll send my address if you sister doesn't just love it. As said, we are our own worse critic!

I do woodworking too and anguish over every flaw. Recipients don't see what we do, they just love the results.

Finished the quilting and working on the binding now. It's not as bad as I thought it was and sister and husband haven't said anything about the thread color so I'm just going to finish it and give it away. Live and learn, and hopefully I won't make this mistake again :)

WE are OUR OWN worst critics. Give the quilt with love and don't give it another thought. It IS definitely gift-worthy!

ok, finish what you got going and add another design with different thread. personally i like it just the way it is.

I think it's great! I know what you mean, tho. I get a mental picture of what I'm aiming for, and when I don't achieve it, I'm dissappointed. Fortunately, none of the recipients of my quilts can do a 'Vulcan Mind Meld', so they don't know what the original intent was!

I'm so glad you are feeling better about it. I believe this experience will make you a color expert :-P
