QuiltSoft
Has anyone ever used this software program for designing quilts? I've heard so much about EQ7 but a little out of my budget right now. This is less than a 1/3 of that, just wondering if anyone has used or know about it.

i'm not familiar with quiltsoft. but if you can find a used version EQ5, you can do almost everything you can with EQ7

I'll look into that. I know nothing about any of this software so appreciate any help. Thanks

Another one to consider is Quilt Design Wizard, made by the same company that makes EQ. It's more of a beginner-friendly program, and usually sells for under $25. While you are limited to the fabrics and blocks included in the program, it allows you to print your block, quilt, fabric requirements and cutting instructions. I think it's a good value, and mine included a $30 coupon towards EQ7, which is nice in case I decide to bite the bullet and make that purchase.

Check with ebay and try to find a used copy of an older version of EQ that can be up graded later.

I did find some older versions of EQ on ebay so I'll probably go that route. Thanks for the help.
