I got some flannels to use for prayer blankets, and some batiks that have snowflakes on them - and I don't like batiks! I thought it was a good price to try them and see if they will change my mind.

You got some great deals. I love batiks -- I use them in a lot of projects (yes, I mix them with other fabrics as well as only use batiks). Have fun with your finds.

I didn't think I liked them either but now I do. I find it depends on the design of the batik though. There are still some I'm not fond of.

Yup, me too, I ordered yesterday to try their thread after reading good reviews on it, and of course, rounding up my order with some sale fabrics, for backing , so I could get the free shipping!!!!

Im addicted to Connecting Threads and buy way to much. Can not resist the $50 no shipping habit.

Received my order this morning and since I was doing wash, I started to prep the fabric for washing. I don't usually measure my fabric but I've seen on the Board where a lot of you do measure your order. Most of pieces were right on the mark, or an inch or two over. One piece of flannel was short a half of yard. I called and they are sending me the original two yard piece I ordered AND I can keep the piece that came! Man, I love Connecting Threads! They just make it so easy to love them!!
