Hey ladies and gents I have a problem..... Ok First of all is there anyone in or very close to Fort Madison that may have a few extra minutes? I Gave my Niece a Elna 1400. I bought it 15 years ago. When I gave it to her it was running fine. Now she seems to be having a problem with it wanting to bunch the thread up under the fabric. She is 13 and needs this machine to finish her Grandmas xmas bag.. I think it needs a drop of oil or she has threaded it wrong. But I cannot diagnose it from Va. Would anyone be willing to make a trip to her house to check it out? Pm me if you are interested and live close enough.

Is she holding onto the threads when she first starts sewing? :D:D:D

I dont think so but she has sewn with it since I gave it to her and it sewed fine. I think it is something in the bobbin or the upper tension. She does not know that much about a sewing machine but she does know somewhat how to sew. It only seems to do it when she tries to speed it up.
