Rag Quilt Layout/Pattern Help

I'm attempting my second quilt, at my daughters request, which will hopefully be a full size 84" x 91", 10x11, rag quilt. Several years ago I got a panel of fabric from a lovely lady on this board. I'm embarrassed to say I don't remember who. The fabric panel has 9 pictures of shoes and there is an extra panel which has small pictures of all the shoes. (I hope that makes sense, I will try to post a pic). So the focal point of the rag quilt will be the shoes: nine, 10" single shoe squares and nine, 10" multiple small shoe squares, for a total of 18, 10" squares for the focal point. (I apologize if I am not explaining this well). I've been struggling with the layout and how many additional fabrics I need.....I was thinking 4? My daughter would like cheetah print, teal, purple, and black as the extra fabric. Does anyone have any pattern/layout suggestions? Thank you all so much for the help and patience with this "newbie"!

I got a beautiful cheetah print in purple for pillow cases and Atkinsons zipper pouches off Fabric.com. It is really beautiful.
