I was at WILSON's, YOUR FAVORITE QUILT STORE in Hagerstown MD a couple of weeks ago, and they had a child's quilt on display that contained Raggedy Ann and Andy machine embroidered blocks. When I asked about purchasing those designs, I was told that Wilson's license to sell those had expired. Does anyone have a source for these designs? They stitched out in approx 4X4 inch squares, so the designs would have been slighly smaller. They were obviously licensed designs, but the staff there could not give me the name of the designer. Any ideans?

Why would they display a quilt for which they could not sell the designs. That is just rude!!! I hope you find them.

I found this website:

Here is a really cute machine embroidery CD for $16.00...

THANKS to all who responded. However, none of these were close to those licensed designs I saw. The digitizing was absolutely WONDERFUL.......all fully stitched (no outline designs)...Oh Well - maybe it will turn up somewhere...............

I think I may have the designs. What I have is Classic Raggedy Ann & Andy. 30 designs on a multi-format CD-ROM. 4x4 hoop. Viking disk part #756 250600. I probably got this in 2003/2004 because I made a quilt for my grandniece who was born in 2004. At that time it cost $99.95 and I may have gotten it on sale or with the purchase of my Viking D1. I am not interested in selling my disk. You might try calling a Viking Sewing Gallery store and giving them the part # and seeing if the store has one still in supply.
I did try to find it online and was not successful. And I am hesitant to try to post a pic, but will try. Hopefully, it won't make the board crash. |
Are these the designs?
