just curious, what sort of hand quilting designs do you put on your rail fence quilts?

I made one for my DS and machine quilted it with a meandering pattern.

I dont know how to machine quilt the tops, just hand quilting. I machine sew the top together but other than that I just hand quilt.

If you quilt 1/4" from the seam line that would give you a nice grid.

I was lazy and just did SITD.
