I have a quilt that is made with 100% cotton material that ravels when touched. I have pieced a pinwheel lap size and need advice before I sandwich it it I need to do something special to the seams or just quilt near seams, every seam and move on.
Thanks.
Susan

I sew around the block little less then 1/4 inch...to keep from raveling...I enjoy bringing my a block or a quilting top to work to show the girls what I have worked on...I always sew around the quilt top...it works!

I have this problem when my seam is less than 1/4 inch. I wonder if using one of the pellon iron on facing materials will prevent the raveling?

I would use a narrow zig zag on all of the seamlines :D:D:D

Maybe try using some fray check on it.
