I have a question, actually an off shoot of a previous post. Has anyone made a quilt with 3D pinwheels, and used it & laundered it? I wanted to make one for a baby gift but was worried about what the pinwheels would look like after the quilt was washed a few times. i envision those kleenex flowers we used to put on cars for weddings, and the unfortunate way they looked if it happened to rain. LOL.

My 3-D pinwheel quilt was a bit different. My pinwheels flip up and I put pictures of the family under them. I made it for my great neice. I was worried about laundering, but my neice said that it washed great.
