Has anyone purchased a sewing machine cabinet from Schrocks of Walnut Creek, OH? This is actually a cabinet shop that has a website and looks pretty impressive. Since I live so far away and can't view their showroom personally, I was wondering if anyone has dealt with them and what their quality and customer service is like? Thanks for any input you can give me.

No, I have not, but if they are Amish made, you can be assurde they are quality made.

I have been to Schrocks in Walnut Creek. You will not find a better made cabinet. They are so maticulous with there work. I am sure you would absolutly love the workmanship and I am sure the customer service would be every bit as good as the cabinet is. Go for it!!!

I have a Horn Sewing Cabinet, and I am giving to my Mum do to space - she has lots, I have none! Mine has some veneer in it, which the Schrocks dont seem to have, but mine has piano hinges, which strengthen it. http://www.horn.com.au/
I think they are marketed in the US as Koala? or Kangaroo? cabinets. Also, when I have my overlocker(serger) out, there is no wobbly bits, like on the one you are looking at.
They are nice looking, and look solid wood, but that would worry me.
