REALLY, really need help!

There's no doubt that I'm "losing it" but....on July 6, I printed a pic of the MOST beautiful quilt block. I have to assume it came from here but for the first time I did not write anything to identify the sender. There is a dark blue small star on lower left bottom, on top of a larger medium star on top of a large yellow star...all on a mottled blue background. I figured there'd be lots of talk about this beautiful block but..nada. If I didn't see it on this site, I wonder where it was. I'd hate to tell you how much time I've spent reading and re-reading days of entries. If anyone can help, I'd be ever so appreciative!!!!

Did you go to Main and click on pictures? If you saw it on here I think it would be there.

I've searched with no luck...could you post the picture you have and maybe we could identify it.

PaperPrincess 07-09-2012 10:28 AM

Can you post a picture of the block?
BTW LOVE Elk Rapids!!!

Can you look in your browser's history folder to see if you can find the website you printed it from? I hope you find it.

Yes look in your history for however many days you think it went back to, and you may find it.

Is this it? http://www.quiltmaker.com/blogs/quil...e-5-star-glow/

Gorgeous, you are right! Looks like it came from Quiltmakers 100 blocks, volume 5

By the way, I googled images for "blue yellow quilt block star", and it came up about 1/2 way down the first page.

BellaBoo 07-09-2012 04:13 PM

I remember it! And it is at the link kristakz posted. I always pin all images I like to Pinterest. They are always there for me if I forget.

That quilt is gorgeous and very versatile.

pansypenny 07-09-2012 06:34 PM

Yes. yes.....that's it! Thanks SO much...isn't it a gorgeous block? You guys here are SO awesome.

That's what I intend to do with this block if I can EVER figure out how to "pin" something. Have the account set up (a while ago) but don't have a shortcut to "pin" to - gotta figure this out. Meantime, will find this block again just by my comment here!!!!

What a gorgeous quilt block!

BellaBoo 07-10-2012 09:55 AM

The block at Quilters Cache is nice but not the same as the three pieced star block. The piecing for the three star block is not what you expect it to be. I have the pattern from the magazine.

pansypenny 07-10-2012 10:21 AM

thanks.....I can't believe it but I have several of those stars printed already (remember, "Losing it"??!?)

RAChhap 07-10-2012 10:42 AM

A couple that I have that sound similar are:
Chris's Star from www.quilterscache.com
Star within a Star from www.Freespirit.com

That is a really cute block - I would have searched for it as well! Great choice.

Southern Judy 07-11-2012 04:04 AM

That block is a neat one. Also Elk Rapids is a beautiful place we lived in Grayling before we moved to Florida in Oct.

#1piecemaker 07-11-2012 04:11 AM

I looked it up and it looks like a fun quilt to make. Good luck with it!! It is very pretty!!!

JanieH 07-11-2012 08:15 AM

I agree = how awesome you all are to so quickly identify and find the pattern! If I'm ever shipwrecked on a deserted island, I want quilters with me - the most resourceful people ever!
