Does any one recognize this pattern? I would like to make a quilt just like this with the same colors, but I do not know the name of the pattern. [ATTACH=CONFIG]477128[/ATTACH].... ! Anyone !!!

I have EQ7 and BlockBase 2. Blockbase 2 name is Rising Sun. The only design difference is that the author of the block in the picture did not use the center applique to hide where the points meet. I have attached templates created by EQ7 for a 15" block. Have fun!

After doing a small research it's also called Rising Sun quilt block, and Cog wheel. Good luck!

john flynn developed a tecnique years ago for strip cuttin the curves of a double wedding ring arc. i had my son get his book for dil who had decided to do dwr for her first quilt! she was overjoyed at flynns technique. he has probably developed a similar tecnique for this pattern also. order it. his directions are clear, easy to follow.
