Why don't you just ask her what fabric line it came from?

jillmc 06-04-2015 06:31 AM

She was the quilter, not the quilt maker...

As soon as I saw this fabric I knew it was from Me and My Sisters fabric line.
A little google...and here it is. :) It's the Amelia line of fabrics.

I love that fabric and have used it in matching quilts for my two little cousins. Love it!

Me and My Sister was going to be my guess also. I knew I had seen it but couldn't remember where/when

jillmc 06-04-2015 08:18 AM

Thanks ladies! You are all the best!

I have used the fabric search engines, googled 20 pages, and no luck....boo.

I found it at Missouri Star Quilt

Sometimes you can find a store that has a particular fabric by searching thru the photos on Google.

jillmc 06-04-2015 03:28 PM

Thanks, quilt mouse, but it's not available at MSQ.....

ratherhaverain 06-04-2015 04:59 PM

Looks like some of the turquiose here:

And other colors here, but not the white:

Hmmmm....that second line is called Bandana by Me and My Sister. Looks very similar if not identical (getting cross-eyed!).

All I know is people on this site are wonderful about finding things! I look for things on google and never find what I want. Great job EasyPeezy.

Good job, ratherhaverain! Thank you! I think the bandana paisley is very close to the Amelia! Order placed at fabric dot com....it was less expensive! Woohoo!

I recognized the fabric. I made my grand daughter the cutest little sun dress. But no way could I remember the name of it, the designers and the manufacturers. WOW I am impressed with your memory and fabric knowledge. The people on this board are amazing!

Latrinka 06-05-2015 11:38 AM

Love, love, love this fabric! I had some of Me and My Sisters line years ago, not this line, but anyway, very very cute. I made some dresdens, one of my favs, they are still hanging in my closet, keep saying I'm gonna make some deco pillows with them.......some day! Maybe to have a granddtr would help!!!

jillmc 06-05-2015 11:58 AM

I agree, Maryellen...everyone here is amazing! And what a great idea-a sundress! I am going on a shop hop in a few weeks, and I hope to stumble across this line of fabric- will definitely pick up more yardage-a girl needs a sundress, and pillows, and a little purse.......latrinka, after 3 sons, I am so excited to have 2 grand daughters!

Follow the link EasyPeezy posted above and click on "Google It" just below the fabric you want. It does a google search and brings up listings with quilt shops such as: http://www.prairierosequiltshop.com/....php?cPath=579.
