I remember some talk about batiks a while back and it was mentioned that red batiks are not as plentiful as other colors. I was at Hancock Fabrics yesterday and found a beautiful red batik. Don't remember the manufacturer but it's a lovely shade of red and was 50% off! If you have a Hancock Fabrics close and like batiks, go check them out. Don't know if they have the same sale online or not, but if you need red, it would be worth checking into.

I found a fantastic red batik at Hancock's for 50% off and it was M'Liss Rae Hawley's line. There were some of the most beautiful aquas, purples, dark blues, raspberry colors and great prints, too. The red was so gorgeous that I rehomed the entire bolt.

I saw them as well and got some yards..Not a bolt but sure wanted too :D ...I walked into that store and saw all of those beautiful rich colors and was in love..
