I'm considering buying a Brother SE350. I have a choice to buy new or Refurbished to save 75 dollars. Is it worth it or should I just buy the new one?

Sorry, I have no idea about a refurbished machine. When I was shopping for a Kitchenaide Mixer, I bought a refurbished one & it has worked like a dream ever since. Good luck with your purchase.

If the difference is only $75, then I'd buy the new one. That way, you have the full warranty and all. I know that some people would take the refurbed one because it were cheaper and wouldn't have the $75 extra, but in my opinion....I'd buy new....it's just a small difference.

I agree with tlrnhi, $75 is not much of a difference at all. I would go with the new one. Now if the difference were a couple hundred dollars I might would go with the refurb.

I was told by a dealer I trade with in Memphis that you really have to watch some dealers. They will try to sell refurbs as new machines as well. And even though this does not apply to this situation he also told me to be very careful purchasing embroidery machines. They will set the counters back on them making you think a machine is less used than it is.

Thank you! I didnt even realize there were counters on them. I was looking through a ton of different sites and it does only have about 100 dollar difference. I dont realy know much about embroidary machines but it looks to be alot fun. I will have to ask about the counter thing if it comes to that.

in this case, Go new. Definitely.

I'm hoping to buy the same machine! I found it online for $319 with free shipping...it swears it is brand new in box. I'm still collecting my pennies, so it will be awhile yet. Let me know how you like it.

I just bought (but don't have a refubished machine) and the only reason is it's a $6000.00 that i got for $1000.00 so in my opinion if your not saving much buy new.
