What makes you a "regular user" on this site, so that you can sell items? I posted a CD for sale the other week and was told I was not supposed to sell because I was not a "regular" user. I use the site on a daily basis. So what do I need to do to become a "regular".

I think you have to have been a member for a certain time and maintain 20 posts in 2 weeks. My regular user comes and goes, depending on how much a read versus how much I respond. There are guidelines for being able to sell somewhere, but I'm not sure where.

here's the rules for those interested in selling:

The link I listed above (in the previous post) talks about what it takes to establish "regular user" status. ... and like 'bj' stated, it comes and goes depending on whether you are making posts on the board and how often you sign in to post.

Go to the Classified Section, at the top of the page is a notice that describes the rules for being able to post a classified ad. :D:D:D

I wondered about that also. I read that you have to post 20 times in 2 weeks. I visit here a great deal but don't often post so now I guess that is what I'll have to do in order to sell some books I'm weeding out of my collection.

When in doubt, ask Patrice. She is fair-minded and will give you a direct, honest answer in a timely manner.
