:-D :-D :-D It took me a little under a month to put it together. I used the most fabric I had for the background and borders and such but a lot of the pieces that are the flying geese are scraps that I had. I just had to make sure I had enough ot cut say 192 geese or some thing like that. I haven't sandwitched it yet but hoping to get that part done soon. The ladies at the quilt shop had asked me how long it took also. I told them it does seem tedious in all the foundation piecing, but once you get it done then it was worth it provided that it goes to gether well. She ( Judy Niemyer ) doesn't mention squaring up the parts once they are done, but I did on the NYB blocks and the star points and such and then it went together pretty well. There was some frog stitching, but that was worth fixing any mistakes too. I did have a floral fabric that I wanted to use for the outer border, but there wasn't enough. Grrr so I used the blue floral and it looked pretty good tho the print of the flowers are large. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay

Was the pattern really hard. I have a dragon star kit. Contemplating if I am ready for it next year. I have only done a little bit of paper piecing. How long did this one take you in that month. Did you work on it daily for hours. I have maybe a few hours a week I could donate to my dragon star
