Hello, Everyone, I am new to this board and this is my first post. I have never made a quilt before, but have been interested in learning for quite some time.
My mom passed away, going on a year ago now. She had quite an adventurous life and collected a number of cotton t-shirts based on her interests and travels. In her later life she had talked about taking the designs and logos from the t-shirts and making a quilt, but she never got around to doing so. I have all the t-shirts and would like to make the quilt. However, I don't really know how one would handle making a quilt out of cotton knit t-shirt fabric. Does anyone have suggestions? I really appreciate any ideas. |
