Reminder--Virtual Quilting Weekend
 

Just a reminder that Virtual Quilting Weekend will be this coming weekend, Dec 13-15. So if you still have some Christmas gifts to finish, hope to "see" you there! Anyone is welcome to join, no matter what you're working on.

I've tried a few times recently to finally brave it out and post a pic, but just can't get anything to upload. So, even though I can't post pic's of what I'll be working on, I'm definitely joining in!! I'll bring the fireside coffee and some cookies - who's got the diet pepsi and chips?!

I'm in, I'm making my first ever quilt using the 7 shirts pattern.

I'll be here. On Saturday I am joining gals at my church to put together quilts for those in need in our church family and those around our community. We tie the quilts rather than quilting them.

I'm hoping to participate. Let's see how the week unfolds...

I'll be busy on Friday, but I'll be here on Sat/Sun. No gift making. I'm going to work on blocks I've never tried before, or maybe ​start my postage stamp quilt.

I will be quilting most of the weekend.......hubby leaves for work Saturday am and wont be back until Wed...so I can work to my hearts content. I have a quilt to finish for a Christmas gift

Great, I've just gathered up fabric for my next quilt project. Making one for my big brother. He's the only close relative that doesn't have a quilt made by me yet.

Sounds like there will be a bunch of us. I think I'm going to force myself to work on a couple applique projects that have been started then set aside. Maybe I can finish one of them and make some good progress on the other.

Well I have been quilting today and started a blind pattern. Will post picture later

I'm hoping to join too, I want to finish assembling my Sylvia Bridal Sampler.

I'll be here in heart. I may have time to squeeze in some Christmas present work- sewing a Rudolph for my nephew; making oven mitts for my BFF. I'm also trying to complete a king-size quilt top for my sister by her birthday: January 25th. Eeek!

Yep. I'll be here. Have done some knitting today, finished a big warm winter scarf and started a smaller mohair one to wear on a cardigan and a jumper. It's 8 pm now and instead of cuddling up warm with some hand sewing or more knitting, I have to go to a meeting, yuck!! It's cold outsinde and this sort of meeting is always boring because there are a few people who love to listen to themselves :-))).

I'll be here quilting my fingers off. Christmas gifts (the few that I made) are done but I have this baby quilt that needs to finish being hand quilted before mid Feb.

Perfect! According to the weatherman, I am going to be snowed in this weekend. Guess I will have to spend the whole weekend sewing.

Just to let everyone know, the Virtual Quilting Weekend thread has been moved to the Challenges/Contest section.

My GGD's birthday is tomorrow...we are suppose to get a big storm in the evening. Hope the power stays on Sunday that will be the day I may be able to make it happen. Happy quilting!
