Before you tell me how stupid I am just rest assured I already figured that much out.

Here's my problem. My sister said to mark my quilting lines with kids washable markers. I tried one and it washed out great so I marked some more.

My daughter who has 2 little ones saw me and FREAKED. She asked me what I was doing because they aren't as washable as they claim to be. I of course paniced and ran to the washer and guess what. My daughter was so right.

Now I have marking lines all over my quilt. I have washed it but not run it through the dryer. I have used "Grandma's Secret Spot Remover".

I am so open to suggestions other than don't do that again.

Thanks. At this point I'm willing to try almost anything. My mother embroidered the blocks and I am hand quilting feathers around them. That is what I messed up.

If worse comes to worse I will just cut out her blocks and basically start over. Her blocks are fine. It's just my part.

My daughter has used Dreft with Oxyclean and it has gotten out everything (including banana--which is a horrible stainer for kids clothes). You might want to try it.

I have used "Carbona Stain Devil' remover... you can get it from Joanns. They have 7 differnt ones for diferent purposes. I have used the ink remover.... hubby left a pen in his pocket and it washed and dried. Left a mess in the dryerand all over the clothes. I used it and all came out of the clothing. It is a great product.

I would test it in a small area, but i think that stuff is great!

good luck

I tried Grandma's spot remover from Clotilde. It didn't work. I'm trying the things I have at home until I can get somewhere to try the other things.

Thanks so much for all of your help.
