Help, I used a blue chaco liner on a beige pattern quilt and it won't all brush or shake out. What could be tried next?

I had the same problem with the gray - I washed it with mediocre results. The quilt is for me, so next time I wash it, I'm going to use some kind of stain remover. Very disappointing. I'll watch here to see if anyone has any good advice.

Never used those. I try to use regular pencil, as that ALWAYS washes out. Or I use the disappearing blue or purple markers.

I also use a pencil - mark light enough to see it and by the time I'm done quilting, most of it has rubbed off!!

Saw in a recent quilt mag, can not remember which one at the moment, to try and us Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Get it wet and squeeze out so just damp. Then rub on marks. Not sure how it will work but it is worth a shot.

I've used yellow on dark with no problems. Also the blue on light.

I had this problem with a yellow Chaco liner. I tried all of the above and still had yellow markings. I emailed the company and they recommended a solution of 5 parts water to 2 parts vinegar; dab it on the line; blot with plain water. I had to do this twice but it did remove the yellow markings. Hope this helps!
