Removing a stain from a quilt block.

Hi, Thought you all might be interested in this. I just finished an appliqued quilt block and got a stain on it. Thought it might be grease and have no idea why or where it came from. I took a q tip (actually more than one) put a drop of Dawn det. on it an rubbed it on the spot. Then rinsed it with plain water. Took a couple of times to do it but got the spot out. Saved the block and I am one happy quilter. Oh and I put a paper towel under neath it while I was doing it

That Dawn seems to be a miracle product. I use it for lots of things too.

Great job! We use that blue stuff here by the buckets for everything. We use it to pre-treat grease stains and it was out go-to dog shampoo for our Beau dog.

I swear that's the best product on the market. I am never without it!

If Dawn dish liquid is good enough to wash ducks and other wildlife that has come in contact with oil, it is good enough for our quilts. Dawn sure is versatile dish soap. I use it for tons of different things. Always a great reminder though. Thank you for sharing your experience.

If you google "Uses for Dawn detergent" you'll find tons of uses! I am also an "always go to" fan!

Dawn is a great product for many things and so glad you got the stain out using it.
