Congrats on an excellent job. Now you won't have to rummage to find things----for a while anyway. LOL
Happy quilting, Kutnso

Good Work.....You will really enjoy starting projects since you can find things easily. The work is always worth it...

lil'scrapper 10-06-2011 05:46 AM

looks great and I am sure you get a smile on your face every time you open that closet door now. I seriously need to put that on my "To Do" list also.

fireworkslover 10-06-2011 05:48 AM

Good Job. The only thing about using small tubs/boxes, is I always later seem to upgrade to larger ones. My covered boxes are much larger than yours.

sweetpea 10-06-2011 05:49 AM

WOW!!! Can you come over? I'll feed you while you're here!

LyndaK 10-06-2011 06:07 AM

Good for you! I'm in the process of attacking every cupboard, closet and drawer in my house.....to date, I have cleaned the 8 feet of built in china cabinet and starting on the bottom hutch today. Also cleaned and shredded from my two drawer filing cabinet.....Tired of disarray in my home!

judyyoungs 10-06-2011 06:14 AM

Don't you feel so much better now? I just did my sewing room a few months ago, and now I love walking in the room. I can't tell you how many notions and fabric I found that I had forgotten about.

Melinda in Tulsa 10-06-2011 06:17 AM

Great job, wanna do mine?!

dphelps 10-06-2011 06:24 AM

That reminds me.....I have been putting off cleaning and straightening mine for some time now and fabric is piling up on the floor as well. Maybe that will be my project for the day.Well.....maybe?

You really did a good job with organizing! Getting my messy sewing closet straightened out is on my "to do" list also.

Prairie Chick 10-06-2011 07:08 AM

now...come and do mine! ;)

Deborahlees 10-06-2011 07:12 AM

Having 'your stuff' organized so you can FIND what you are looking for is the key.....my current focus has been getting all of one kind in the same place....so when I go looking for sewing needles, or buttons, or a pattern, everything is together.....what a concept !!!!

smcfadden 10-06-2011 07:12 AM

Yeah! That looks like work that was well worth the time. Disorganization makes me crazy! Which is a problem because I'm terminally disorganized.

mimicrystal 10-06-2011 07:26 AM

looks great

Therese 10-06-2011 07:28 AM

I love looking at everyone's quilting studios and stash closets. I bet you feel more inspired after organizing!

JoanneS 10-06-2011 07:30 AM

Love that you actually showed the 'before' pictures. I did that once, and it gave me the nudge I needed to get my b**t in gear to straighten out the mess!

DeniseB 10-06-2011 07:32 AM
