Replacing gears on Singer T&S 635

The gears are slightly worn on my T&S 635 so that the machine will not sew. I have grown to really enjoy using this machine so I would very much like to get it fixed. I have found a set of gears that I believe will fit this machine on ebay but I do not know how to get the old ones off and replace the new ones. Has anyone on this board done something like that and would you be willing to show a few pictures of this procedure?

I would also check the machine more thoroughly. Slightly worn gears might make the machine noisy, but shouldn't make the machine stop sewing. I once had a machine that sounded like a thrasher, closer inspection found the hook drive gears were worn down to nubs but it still sewed. If your machine won't sew you've got something else going on.
