repurposing potato bags????
After reading the post about the potato bags that was recently posted i am undecided. I have made about 15 potato bags using some warm and tater batting in some and others have 100% thinner cotton batting in the others (on the advice of a quilt guild member who has made them for our quilt show marketplace)should i still give them - i don't have a lot of stitiching done on them (not into stippling YET!) i have been making them over the past year. money is tight and now i am upset cuz these were christmas gifts and it is tooo late to do anything else quilting for people (who are probably expecting them since they knew I was making them)

i think i am going to give them with the instructions to please please don't leave the microwave unattended. i have used mine with no problem but i am worried. i would hate to have someone have a problem with it. i also dont leave mine unattended.

I have two that I have been using for almost 3 years and have not had any problem with them at all. I have made several for gifts and have not heard of any complaints with them. If they are aware of possible problems with the instructions of use they should be fine. I am also going to include the warning with instructions if I make more.
