You did great, and you have a good eye for color and scale!

yes I agree. With the borders so busy the corner blocks all the same would tone it down. it all depends on your style. I am a less busy style, if you like bright and busy it is fine as the colors all are comparable. Love the dogs.Looks nice.

Love your border fabric. I think the sashing needs to be narrowed down a little. Have you thought about maybe a navy blue instead of the black. I also think the pinwheel conerstones are too much. I would either make them much smaller or remove them completely and see how you like that look. I would want to keep the dogs and the border fabric the focal point. Just love the border fabric! I said that already, but I do love it! Good job on creating the dogs.

Your quilt is wonderful - the border fabric is ideal and I love the pinwheels. And the black sashing really frames the blocks. Hope you will post a photo when it is finished.

I agree about the pinwheels in the corners, maybe even a solid black cornerstone. I realize that the shashing will be smaller once you take your seams.

I think this quilt is a very nice border for these puppies!

A big yes from me. One minor thing, I'd change the positions of the bottom left and top right blocks for more contrast but that's purely personal taste. Sashing width is appealing IMO, just enough. It's unique and looks warm in both senses of the word. How big is it?

You did a super job, the greyhounds are so cute and I love the border fabric, as it ties it all together. You're doing a great job with your quilts, keep up the good work.
