Resizing
 

I just finished making two test blocks for the Labyrinth Walk. I think they are much too big and you would practically have to hang from the ceiling to get the effect on a bed. Has anyone resized the blocks down from 22 3/4 inches to something closer to 16 inches? I think the pattern could be much more dramatic as a 48ish inch wall hanging.

I made the quilt 3 times now, using them the size they are. The effect is great on the bed. People love looking at that quilt with the bed all made.

I'm pretty sure they did that one as a class this past winter/spring and I don't think it was huge.

You could always re-draft it on graph paper to the size you want.

Yes QuiltE, the graph paper was going to be my next step. I was hoping someone else had already tried this and could tell me if it really worked. Block A is not a problem. In fact, it went together very easily and I don't think I will have any problem drafting it in a smaller size. But Block B's directions were so bad (using the Quilt Magazine Apr/Ma 2012 plus downloaded corrections) that I finally just followed the pictures. It has more 'wall tops' too.

Okay, that will be my challenge for this afternoon--graph Block B as a 16 inch block.

Maybe you should make it even smaller than 16" blocks?

A good rainy day project! and it looks like more are to come. Yet again! *sigh*

Or start by giving T+T a call and see if they have the smaller size, already ... or go for a road trip.
I hear it is well worth the drive. I still haven't got there yet. :(

Just remembered ... didn't MarionsQuilts just do this pattern? or similar?
