I have this book but I am in the middle of a quilt with it( have been for 2 years)....sorry but i think you can get it from Amazon.
|
I also have it but not ready to part with it yet. It is still on my bucket list! Good luck in your search.

It can be found at
http://www.quiltknit.com/BK2065-Ring...ips_p_760.html $24.99 Sorry, I guess they are out of stock, just saw the price and wanted to let you know. |
This book is out of print. I live in Canada and when I ordered it 4 or 5 months ago it was hard to find and stores were out and could not get any more in. If you do find the book second hand, make sure that it includes the ruler(12"). I was lucky when I ordered it shipping was reasonable. Then I had to make an unexpected trip to Billings and we just happened to stay across the street from a beautiful quilt shop and they still had the large and small ruler for this quilt. Good luck.

Go to http://wwww.phillipsfiberart.com and you can get the book and an arc that is not printed well for $15.98

I have this book. Do you know it takes 1 3/4 yard of fabric per ring? For a twin size quilt it takes 21 yards of fabric and 5 yards of 45" batting. I wanted to make a king size but never gathered up 18 3/8 yards of backing fabric, 8 yards interior square fabric, and 9 yards for arc fabric, at one time. That's a lot to put in one quilt.

Look at this video how to make her NY Beauty block. Very interesting!

Check with Cheryl Phillips (author) at phillipsfiberart.com. Even though she doesnt show it on her site she may have copies.

From the description in the book Ring that Bind, it sounds similar to the technique shown by Pam Bono in her book(which is no longer in print either but can be found Amazon Used Booksvery reasonably)"A Quilter's Life in Patchwork". She shows a wedding ring quilt that the ring is done in rectangles strip sets and right triangles instead of curved piecing in the traditional manner.
One thing to mention about Pam's book, some of the books listed on Amazon say they come with the cd that comes with the book. Because the book has been out of print for so long, the cd is no longer supported by her website and will not work. I'm not sure what was on the cd but the book has the full set of instructions for every quilt shown in the book. The cd must have had something extra on it that is not shown in the book. I purchased the book for about $15 not knowing that the cd didn't work but there are other copies that are missing the cd and sell for alot less. I wish I had known! Pm me if you want more info.
