Robert Kaufman ‘Zoologie’ Panel
1 Attachment(s)
I have a piece of Robert Kaufman fabric and I just don’t know what to do with it.
I’ve searched the internet, including Pinterest, trying to find examples of how this fabric has been used but found nothing. Just wondered if anyone here has made a quilt from this fabric and has a photo of it. Each block is approximately 11 inches square - if someone would like to make a suggest I would be grateful. At the moment I’m thinking of cutting it into two squares of 4 blocks and putting borders round. My small quilts go to Project Linus. |
Take a look at Jenny Doan's "Illusion Block" quilt. You could separate the squares that way and make a crib-size quilt.

I think "Warm Wishes" would work well to frame your panel pictures.

This panel is nearly the same as the one I used in the quilt below:
It's the same size and from the same artist, Ann Kelle. You could do something like this. |
This is a favorite tutorial that could be fun.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGt6_pWo6zs You could also put one plain square in the center for personalization. Then add the panel squares around it. Example of Layout: Top row = 3 panel blocks Center Row = Panel Block, Plain Square Block and Panel Block Bottom Row = Same as top row. Have Fun! |
