My quilter friend rolls all of her unused strips. I have a few rolls that I inherited but have never bothered to roll my own. I have always stored them flat. What is your preference? It does save space. But I don't think I'll change at this stage. I'd be rolling for many many days. (she thinks I should).

Personal choice I think. I do not roll (smile).

Mine are a bit more "random," not laying flat or rolled....!!!!!!!
I have project/craft bins that I keep mine in. I fold them in half 2x, then store flat by color.
I have never rolled.. too much effort. I just fold and toss in the bin.
mine are tossed in a box just for strips

fold, toss and refold...I try to keep them stacked and folded but by the end of each wk...totally rummaged thru and it's like they were never organized or folded..
I don't roll my strips... but I doroll my selvages into balls' they look so pretty stored in a glass jar!
My mom used to roll all her scraps, but I find that I like to have them flat.
Ooooh, I love it. Mine are "random". I will never again admit to them being a "wad". I am an artist and have my scraps arranged "randomly". :)
I roll mine like I do for bindings
I just fold and stack in a clear storage bin. Anyone want to post a picture of their rolled strips. :?: Love to see a pic.

I have some binding wrapped around a cap from an empty LCD spray bottle. I have learned that just about any fabric I fold sooner or later ends up beneath something and gets creases along the folds and I have to iron them out (one of many "FVG's Laws of Fabric"). I think I'm going to stick with rolling my strips just because of this fact and avoid having to iron out yards of strips.
