I'm so sorry! I have been busy making brownies for an incentive at school! (10 boxes and counting, but, boy does my house smell good!!!).
Let me post a pick of my ABC quilt. I don't think any of the pictures are close up. I happen to cut the pieces with my die cut machine, but you can cut them out with scissors, too. I use a simple blanket stitch (like what you would use with fusible) to stitch the shapes to more fleece. When I get a break today at work, I'll run home and take some close up shots of the baby feet blanket I'm working on. thanks for asking! Rose |
Here are some pics of the baby feet fleece blanket I am working.
here is a link on how to do the blanket stitch. I'm not very good at explaining things sometimes (I like for someone to show me). http://crochet.about.com/library/weekly/aa120702.htm The example is demonstrating on crochet, but the same would work for fabric. I take a tiner "bite" with my blanket stitch. I tried to get a good picture of the tiny stitches, but couldn't. If someone needs me to, I can do a quick block with a contrasting thread that might show the stitches better. |
