I must have gotten a bad batch too. I recently purchased 10 packages and I've opened up 4 of them. Not one blade cut fabric worth a darn. I've tried everything--cleaning, rotating, making sure the blade is not screwed in so tightly, adjusting and I just can't get any of them to cut fabric. I guess I'll just use them to cut paper.

No, NOT too good to be true!!! Most of us have had a great experience with them. Take them back and ask for new ones. It appears that there are occasionally a bad batch. They are a great bargain when you get good ones!

Out of 10 packages I have had one bad blade thus far. From what I'm reading I guess Quality Control is not their strong suit. :|

I just put two in two dif rotary cutters yesterday and they both work great!

That has been my experience with HF blades. I don't buy them.

Same with me...10 pkgs and first two cut beautifully. Only ones that cut. Rest are duds!

As with anything one will get "duds" once in a while, I have had the same issues with the expensive ones. For all we know they could be from the same manufacturer. Different packaging, same product.

My husband sees this in his power tools....
Dewalt is Black and Decker with a yellow casing.
Porter Cable, Rigid, Black and Decker, Dewalt, Craftsman, Hitachi are manufactured in Asia at the same factory just different colored housings.
The company is know known as Stanley/Black and Decker.

I use mine in a Olfa cutter. Mine works fine..

I have some and they work just fine for me. Sorry you're having troubles.

If the blade is too tight it will not cut. Believe the blades are a bit thicker.

Thanks for the tip - I will surely give your suggestion a try. I thought I noticed the blade was thicker, but I'm always imagining things :?: so I ignored my thought.
If I can get it to work, I double thank you. :-)
