You can nearly always find a JoAnns 40% off or 50% off coupon online. It is usually good either in the store or online. I sometimes get mine on EBay but you have to be patient to get a decent deal. They don't usually go very cheaply.

I have been a Harbor Freight buyer for several years now. Occasionally a blade might not be sharp enough but at $1 per blade or less, I can afford to throw one away now and then.
|
I agree with DUNSTER. I use the Harbor Freight blades. I have not had a problem/issue with their not being sharp.

Amazon and if you have prime no postage batting, usually Cotten even better than Joann's with coupon!
|
Martelli has great blades and will have 50% off coupons periodically, sign up for emails. Take a 50% off coupon from AC Moore or anyones to Michaels and buy some there.

I get mine from Harbor Freight. They're called carpet cutting blades. Some people have commented that they may not last as long as the quilting blades, but they are so much cheaper (about $1 each) that they are still a good value. I personally think they last as long and I have a tendency to change my blade quicker (which is a good thing) because they are so inexpensive.

I buy them at Hancocks when they are 50% off, which is not often. I also get really good buys on them on e-bay at times.
|
Hittle's Wholesale....you can bulk -buy and their pricing is better than anyone else I've found.
|
I also order from Joannes but I use the off brand ones. They are called Cutting Edge. I have had no problems with and love that fact that they are a little cheaper although I do think I will be trying out those carpet cutter blades also.

Blades and other sewing things are always on my Christmas list. My family knows how much I love sewing and quilting so they give me things like this.
