Has anyone seen or got one of these. Got an email from Creative Grids and watched the video demonstration. Looks pretty good, but not cheap £32.00. Would you think that this would be worth getting?

I'll be watching with interest.

it takes practice to use. i wrecked 3 blades in the process.

once you get the hang of it, it's pretty good. the only other one i've tried that does as well is the round plastic with sandpaper circles.

the creative grids is easier. the round one works well but takes a lot of elbow grease.

Hi Patrice, did you find that it really sharpened the blades? The video said you need to run the blade down about 20 times and then turn it around - the sharpener - so that you could do the other side of the blade. Would consider getting one if it meant buying fewer blades. Could pay for itself in the end.

I always wondered if these worked well.

it will extend the life of your blades if you remember to use it regularly as you work through your cutting chores.

when i remember to use it after several long cuts, it does keep the blade useful for much longer.

even the guy who demonstrated it in Houston pointed out that we shouldn't wait until the blades are already too dull.
