Heard about the rotory carpet cutter and found one but its not like the ones we get at the fabric stores. The ladies who have purchased these could you please tell me if they are designed just like the ones we use. This one is longated and the blade is up in the center wish I could draw a picture. Also the tool place that was mentioned I didn't copy down the name, so if someone could let me know I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Well, it wasn't the cutter as much as the replacement blades that fit our fabric rotor cutters. Same theory except with the carpet cutter your whole hand covers the tool, and with the rotor cutters for fabric, you have a handle. If you can see how to cut on the lines, the carpet cutter might be more controlled. I'm a jiggler and wiggler, lol. It's beginning to sound better and better. lol I didn't read the package for the carpet cutter, so I don't know anything about it, except I saw them hanging beside the blades. Blessings, Ruth

Oh u mean Harbor Freight Tools...just so happens that I needed a carpet cutter and found that one too. It works great on carpets, but I haven't tried it on cloth...I just use the replacement blades in my Olfa and they work great

I bought one of the carpet cutters and it came with 3 blades. Those blades will fit in my rotary cutter. The carpet cutter itself is not designed to use with a mat and rule that I usually use. Hope this helps
