Maybe you can post a picture of it and suggestions will follow?

Here is one URL I looked at when I typed in "quilt as you go"(googled it) : http://www.secretsof.com/content/194
Hope you find one that works for you and that perhaps this one will get you started.

It would help to have a picture.

I would suggest the book "Row by Row: 10 easy bar quilts" by Terry Martin. Published by That Patchwork Place.
The block patterns are not complicated and there are some good ideas for theme quilts. |

I love this site. I always wondered how they connect QAYG blocks. awesome, saved for future reference. |
Yeah, it makes it at least look do-able. I haven't tried it that way yet but hope to as I have a large print fabric I've cut into 12 inch squares to make into a quilt for my queen size bed and doing it on an angle to boot. I think I made it harder on myself.

the one I did for a customer was custom, sorry I am bad, I never remember to take pictures of the quilts after I quilt them.
|
We have had a post for that on here. I don't remember if it was a link to another site or if one of our members showed us how they did it. If you use our search field on 'fun and done' and 'quilt as you go' I think you will find reference to it. I am thinking it may have been a link to quilters world./Regards, Dorothy
