Roxanne Marking Pencils

I am finishing a quilt to enter in our upcoming quilt show. I used a stencil and a white Roxanne marking pencil to mark the quilt border. After marking, I decided to use a different design for my border. Cannot get the Roxanne marking off the border. Have tried spraying with water but it is still showing on the border.

Any suggestions on how to remove the markings?

I can't help with removing them but I have some I've had for prob too long and can't get them to make marks on fabric!! has been very frustrating and wondered if anyone has used them successfully?

find Roxann's web site and ask the question. The problem with some white marking pencils is that the lead has wax in it and is amost impssible to remove. But write Dedria at Roxann and ask her.

I'm not a big fan of the Roxanne's pencils. I use them when I have nothing else that will work. Have you washed the quilt and the marks are not coming out? Or are you just trying to rub them off somehow? I don't think I've had issues with the marks not washing out. I've actually never had an issue with any marking tools I've used not washing out except once with #2 lead that had previously washed out with no issues. That's what I usually use for light fabrics and I've become a big fan of the Bohin mechanical pencil with white lead for dark fabrics. The mechanical style pencils fit much better in the stencils to my way of thinking.

Mark a scrap of the fabric with the pencil and try different things to remove it off the scrap. When you find a method that works, then ou can try it on the quilt.
