If it should happen again just look the woman in the eye and say something like, "I've heard that menopause can sometimes make a woman really nasty and hateful, I guess it's true." Sorry you had to deal with such rudeness...Amazing isn't it...the rude ones who should keep their mouths closed ...seem to have the most to say.
