Looking for information on what rulers you might suggest to do curved and straight cross hatching. Any info will be helpful...

You can use a piece of masking or painters tape to do straight cross-hatching. Or any ruler the width you want. I don't know about curved cross-hatching.

There's a bendable curve ruler that will make curves.
